Wrap up.

The photos have been edited (many more than I posted even after some ruthless deletions).
Find them here.

I have added some short videos of the view from the balcony and on the beach.

Here is the condo website.

It's official

We don't want to go home. Hard to believe that a week has passed. The weather reports from Illinois don't help.

I have a lot more photos than I posted that I will put up on Picasa after I have a chance to edit them.

So until then....

Zero to 10 thousand feet in two hours

The day started on the beach - a habit I could get used to. Before noon we were on Haleakala. The sensation of stepping up to the crater is not possible to describe and I'm afraid the photos won't do it justice either. Then we dropped down to a few thousand feet to a lavender farm.

Beach and flowers first.

I am on a mission to find the best fish tacos on Maui. Two candidates so far, Beach Bum and Coconut's Fish Cafe (featuring surfboard tables and benches) shown below. So far, the conclusion is that Maui is a very good place to find fish tacos. More research is required.

-
This afternoon we went to a goat farm. No, really.

-
There was danger involved.

-Speaking of old goats.

Note the surfboard for the kids' enjoyment.

-And kids

Goat cheese was purchased. Report to follow.
